ABOUT SUSIE

An active volunteer spokesperson and advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Susie Overvold became involved with the organization by participating in the Walk to Cure Diabetes, Imagination Ball and many other speaking engagements to educate and raise awareness with the hope to one day find a cure.

Susie is a Registered Dental Hygienist and for the past 15 years has worked in private practice along with being a Clinical Instructor. She also runs her own spray tanning business "Bronze Beauties by Susie." She is married to Doug Overvold who is the President of Total Energy Concepts. A company which focuses on helping businesses reduce their carbon footprint.

Susie, Doug and her step-son Logan enjoy living on Lake Minnetonka. The family loves boating, fishing, snowmobiling, bonfires in the backyard and listening to the call of the Minnesota loons on the lake at the end of the day. She is an avid fitness enthusiast and practices CorePower Yoga (hot/vinyasa flow), meditation and pilates. Gardening, bird watching, spending time with her cocker spaniel Hunter and, most recently, knitting are some of her favorite hobbies.
